Blind spots in modern medicine

Pain and stiffness are caused by muscles, not bones!

As can be seen from the above case, pain such as low back pain and sciatica become severe and MRI examinations are performed before undergoing orthopedic surgery. Diagnosis such as lumbar disc herniation, spinal stenosis and lumbar spondylopathy are difficult to treat with painkillers, hyperthermia, massage or electrotherapy. If those do not help, surgery is required. Surgery is uncomfortable and acupuncture, shiatsu, chiropractic, or manipulative treatment rarely cure the patient completely.

This is because pain and stiffness are caused by induration of soft tissues (muscles

and connective tissues such as fascia and ligaments). If this stiffness is not eliminated, it will never be completely cured. This applies to all cases I have experienced over the last 38 years. However, you must not physically push or rub to eliminate stiffness.

Why is orthopedic recomended surgery for lumbar disc herniation, spinal stenosis and lumbar spondylolisthesis?

The reason is simple! MRI and X-rays do not show muscle stiffness.

The stiffness is invisible. You will not know unless you palpate with a skilled finger.

Orthopedic surgeons do not know because they do not palpate. Only the bones are visible, so only skeletal abnormalities are considered. But we are not skeletons. The skeleton is supported by soft tissues and muscles. It is the soft tissues that accumulate fatigue  causing abnormalities.

The aging phenomenon causes chronic inflammation, which causes the body to become cramped, compressing blood vessels and nerves, reducing muscle strength and flexibility, causing joint pain and limited range of motion.
